Daniel

Founder & Student Researcher

Hi, I'm Daniel. I am a student researcher with a passion for understanding wildfires and developing solutions that can help communities become more resilient to them.

My interest in wildfire science is deeply personal. Having experienced major California wildfires firsthand β€” including the Tubbs and Kincade Fires in Northern California and witnessing the impacts of fires in Southern California such as the Palisades Fire β€” I have seen how these events can reshape communities and affect families for years after the flames are gone.
