Training homeowners in defensible space, evacuation routes, and go-bag preparedness.
Conducting and publishing research on fire behavior, community vulnerability, and prevention strategies.
Fundraising, public education, and seminars with specialists in their field.
Stay Informed
Several wildfires are currently being monitored. Stay updated via official CAL FIRE channels.
Our latest study shows simple modifications significantly reduce the chance of structure ignition.
Thank you to our 47 volunteers who cleared defensible space around at-risk homes last month.

Who Am I
Hi, I'm Daniel. I am a student researcher with a passion for understanding wildfires and developing solutions that can help communities become more resilient to them.
My interest in wildfire science is deeply personal. Having experienced major California wildfires firsthand β including the Tubbs and Kincade Fires in Northern California and witnessing the impacts of fires in Southern California such as the Palisades Fire β I have seen how these events can reshape communities and affect families for years after the flames are gone.
Support Our Work
Every contribution funds community workshops, real world research, and emergency preparedness for families who need it most.
